The difference is that we weren’t brought up on social media. These kids have been online since they could walk. Social media is the main issue here. Think about how our society would be without social media, think of all the problems and toxicity that wouldn’t exist. We need to go back to how things use to be. We had MySpace and msn messenger, that was it. We only used the internet for school projects. Our parents didn’t allow us to be online for hours on end. Our phones were just phones, no internet. When I was a teenager, after school I was hanging out with my friends at the park, playing games ect. This is what we need, simplicity.

I've been doing a really similar version of this for several years now, but my rainbow is unscientific. It's still a gradation, but I have whites in the front, then blues, greens, and purples (favorite colors) heading toward the back toward pinks, reds, yellows (no oranges, I'm a Winter, lol), and then all my grays/blacks. My prints are like yours. For me, someone who lives with anxiety and depression, having my closet organized by color is not only - like you discuss - functional, it's also inspires me to WANT to put together a cute outfit and go somewhere. Before I did this, it was random and too tempting to just stay home. This way, you see hundreds of possibilities at a glance. Great little closet tutorial! And here I thought I was obsessive. Now, I'm organizer-approved! 😁

I did the 2nd way first and liked it. However when I did the 3rd way, it produced a longer roll, so I stayed with that, due to the depth of my linen closet shelves. I could make better use of my shelf space with longer rolls. Thx! And I agree with everyone who loves your voice.

Thanks Judi for all the tips! I think I’ll use my hall closet and place hooks for hanging keys and my bag. I have an old credenza piece that has worked out well as a tv stand and this is where I hide all my controls and dvds, some books, etc. I like less on my tables, nightstands etc. and place everything in baskets or containers in drawers. Easier for me to go around dusting …lol . I love having a semi organized junk drawer too. 😉… I’d rather be out riding my bicycle since retiring. 😁💕💃🏻

I want to check out the ones labeled specialty here in atl! I love things that stack and im looking for like a stury cloth collapsible square or rectangle shaped boxes, where i can still stack vertically on top safely & securely! Maybe like something like thise clevermade crates or sumthin. Looking to book a zoom call with you in the future for the childrens closet :). Hope you and the baby are very well!

What’s the best space saver for foldable linens in general ? Folding or rolling?

I have several of the 7 pocket ones. I quickly grabbed them when I saw them at DT price point. I wanted multiples of them and this style of organizer is more than I wanted to pay at other stores. They fit perfectly in my drawers have organized my underwear, bras, camis, socks and swimsuits. Did this months ago and the system is working and easy to maintain.

Why is everyone folding - what we might reasonably assume is a clean towel -why else roll it - on the FLOOR?? I just saw another video where a guy did the sand thing on his bedroom carpet. Doesn’t anyone know how to clear and clean a table??
